RideWiser is a free, informational commute planner and fare-comparison tool for Bengaluru. We help you compare ways to travel (auto, bike, cab, Namma Metro, BMTC bus) and plan multimodal routes. We do not operate transit lines, employ drivers, sell tickets, or process any payments.
Fares, prices, durations and schedule times shown in RideWiser are estimates generated from models and from public and Google Maps data. They are not quotes or guarantees. Actual prices and times are set by the operators and apps and can differ due to surge pricing, traffic, demand, route changes and service delays. Always confirm the final price and time in the provider's own app before you travel.
Metro and bus times shown are scheduled times from public data, not a live GPS feed. For real-time vehicle tracking we link you to the official operator app. Public services are subject to the transport authority's own delays and changes.
RideWiser does not sell tickets or passes. Where shown, we link you to official channels — for example Namma Metro's WhatsApp QR ticketing or the official BMTC app for tickets and passes. Any purchase is a transaction between you and that provider, governed by their terms. We are not a reseller and are not responsible for those transactions or their fulfilment.
When you choose a ride or a service, RideWiser may pre-fill your start and end points and "deep-link" you into the relevant native app (Uber, Ola, Rapido, Namma Yatri and others) or website. We are not responsible for the availability, pricing, content, or fulfilment of any third-party app or portal.
RideWiser provides convenience shortcuts to official third-party portals — for example electricity (BESCOM), water (BWSSB), property tax (BBMP), FASTag (NHAI/IHMCL), LPG gas (MyLPG), Aadhaar (UIDAI), DigiLocker, PAN (UTIITSL), passport (Passport Seva), driving licence / RC (Parivahan) and EPFO/PF. These are simply links: RideWiser is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government department or service provider, does not process payments or applications, and is not responsible for those sites, their content, availability or any transaction you make on them. Always verify you are on the correct official site before entering any personal or payment details.
Suggested routes may combine modes (e.g. Metro + auto). You are responsible for the physical transfers between hubs and pick-ups, and we cannot guarantee that a last-mile vehicle will be available the moment you arrive.
RideWiser is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, missed connection, fare difference, or damage arising from your use of the service or reliance on its estimates.
RideWiser is for personal, non-commercial use. You may not scrape, harvest, or systematically extract fares, schedules or route data, overload the service, or resell its output for commercial purposes.
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka having jurisdiction.
